BC COUNCIL 2022 AGM and CONFERENCE
This pandemic-delayed Conference was a resounding success. Held at the Coast Capri Hotel from 13 - 15 May, 2022, we welcomed participants from CFUW clubs across BC. An excellent line-up of speakers on the theme of 'Trailblazing Women' informed, entertained and encouraged us; Rosemary Thomson, Music Director of the Okanagan Symphony; Inspector Beth McAndie from the RCMP detachment; Isobel Mackenzie, BC Seniors' Advocate; and Helen Jennens from Moms Stop the Harm. As well delegates enjoyed several tours, were happy to mix and mingle at the Friday evening reception, learn some salsa dancing and eat delicious meals prepared by the Capri. Oh, and the AGM was productive as well!
Congratulations to the organizing committee for a job well done!
(A selection of photos of the event are on the Members' Only page two.)
